recently i have been trying to be better at being able to say no. not only being able to say no, but to be firm in my decision. “people pleasing” has always been a hardship of mine but slowly i have been relinquishing it. relinquishing the opinions of others. it’s definitely tough and i am challenged daily. i think i was so used to questioning what i’ve wanted because most of the years in my upbringing the decisions made were not what i truly wanted. granted i was young, but i think giving your child some kind of individuality is important. the child is made different in their own way. God makes each person different.
