i went on a fast last year for 7 days. which meant i did not eat for 7 days. at first it was for prideful reasons but once i hit day 3, i could no longer depend on my own strength. a euphoric feeling came upon me. it felt very trippy but as the days went on i realized that my mind and body were being detoxed from chemicals and distractions. i was more focused and able to BE with God in my times of prayer. very hard to explain but my ears were heightened. my spiritual ears per say. it was a new beginning for me. there’s discolor in the face from malnourishment of the fast, buck teeth because it was a new birth. the big ears were because i can hear so clearly.
