from kindergarten all the way up to senior year of highschool i CANNOT recall a time i got an ‘A’ for a writing assignment. everytime i would get up from my seat to turn in that paper, i would believe deep in my heart that i would get a A++++. that just wasn’t the case. the teacher’s always said that i go off and write from my heart in a way that wasn’t MLA format, or by the rules of writing. i agree that there should a little bit of structure, but i feel like you can really get to know someone through their style of writing. by their errors and choice of words etc. maybe im completely wrong. the grammar heads are probably bubbling up wanting to use a red marker for all of the errors they see when reading all of these. im sorry. i hope you can appreciate everything and can take a break from being a teacher. just for today.
