the past 2 years i’ve seen so much poverty. from living in LA, being in an outreach in riverside, going to Africa. i saw the lowest way of living a human can live in. one odd thing that stuck out while i analyzed and kept an open mind when serving, is that they walk a lot. when a human is completely stripped away from everything they still have legs. i know this sounds obvious but it's beautiful. our legs can get us so far. (if we have both of them). there is no limit to how far you can go, no matter if the world says how “poor” you are. i was comfortable with my way of living and i wanted to challenge myself like i have never have before. so i registered myself for the LA marathon. and just started running. no training. just ran for 5 months. i completed the 26 miles in 3 hours and 50 minutes. if everything was stripped away from me how far can i go? it's limitless. truly.
