people have told me that my music, paintings, and writings were just hobbies and that i should probably think about getting a ‘real’ job. people have told me i shouldn’t be a singer so i made an album all sung by me. people told me i can’t write. so i wrote songs for other artists and wrote a children's book. people told me i couldn’t paint. so i hosted an art show displaying 77 paintings. people told me i wear weird clothes and my fashion sucks. so i designed 1 of 1 custom pieces and made a clothing company. if i listened to people you wouldn’t be reading this. if i listened to people, i would only be living for them. to help them feel comfortable about their opinion on how you should live a life. i was given gifts. im not going to just waste them because someone else can’t see my vision. my motive is to stay true to my purpose and gifts. my motive isn’t to prove everyone wrong. if you accomplish things to prove people wrong, it won’t be lasting and sustaining and honestly you’ll have a bitter attitude.
