motives. everyone has them. what’s your motive? that’s the question only YOU can answer. i tend to observe and analyze people unintentionally when im in public and i found that everyone has motives. whether to get what they want or to persuade them into believing the same thing. i think it’s important to be transparent about your motive. it reveals things about you and allows you to be curious about why you act the way you do. my goal is always to have my motive be rooted in love. no manipulation. no scheme. just love. and love starts at the start. not tomorrow. or when you feel happy. it starts now. when you first greet someone or been with them for a long time. “love is patient, love is kind. it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. it does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. it always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. love never fails.” - 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
