if our questions switched about what we wanted to do with our lives it would change the world. especially our jobs and what we do for a living. the modern order of questions is the following : 1. WHAT are you going to with your life? 2. HOW are you going to do that? 3. WHY are you doing that? the disconnect with that order is that a lot of people spend their whole lives doing the same thing for 30 years to collect a paycheck and provide for a living but don’t even realize why they are doing it. no purpose. just money. imagine a world where we used our gifts to serve other people. it would be a more joyful world to live in, instead of everyone worried for themselves. the order of questions when asked “what should i do with my life” should be : 1.WHY am i doing this? 2. HOW will i fulfill this purpose? 3. WHAT will i do to fulfill this purpose? very few organizations know WHY they do what they do. WHY is not about making money. that's a result. WHY is a purpose, cause or belief. it's the very reason your organization exists.
